Having timely notifications about an emergency is incredibly important in the event of a devastating wildfire. Sign up for emergency notifications through Lookout Alert (Smart911) for Jefferson County. Sign up on your phone today. Reach out to your Ambassador as a resource to assist you with this important process.

A FREE Defensible Space Inspection is an important first step to interactively learn about what can be done on your property to reduce fire hazard.

This free service is provided by a Evergreen Fire/Rescue Fire Mitigation Specialist on your property. Enter your home address to sign up — only for your own private property. 

Evergreen Fire/Rescue Wildland Division sends out monthly newsletters highlighting focused actions every homeowner can complete to reduce fire hazard, other ways to get involved and advertise upcoming EFR events and educational workshops.

There are lots of ways to assist ranging from neighborhood focused education (Neighborhood Lead), slash collection and minor tree mitigation (Mitigation Team), event planning (Event Lead) and more.  Please contact  bearmtnfire.ambassador@gmail.com if you are interested in learning more.

Bear Mountain HOA is a voluntary association that is primarily social in nature, although it also monitors proposed development and county actions that could impact the neighborhood.

 

The Association hosts two annual functions, a summer picnic and a holiday party. Both events are open to current and joining members and their families.
